You can satisfy your nasi lemak cravings for lunch, evening and supper. Nasi lemak is a quick snack that wrapped with banana leaf, brown paper and newspaper. More than that, this dish is very popular in other country especially in Brunei and Singapore.
There are a little bit of the history. Farmers needed a healthy meal in the morning, so they eating nasi lemak to keep them full as nasi lemak covered with carbohydrates from rice, sambal’s oils and anchovies’ protein. In Malay, Nasi Lemak means as ” oily or fatty rice”. The meaning is Nasi Lemak usually is creamy or rich flavoured rice dish.
