Laksam is a Kelantan version of laksa but it is a lot milder than other normal laksa. Laksam is made of white noodles made from wheat and rice flours together with gravy. Mix both ingredients together and the mixture are thinly spread, rolled it and cut it between 2 cm into a bowl. The gravy is made from fish meat which is boiled, pureed and then mixed with coconut milk.

Laksam in Kelantan is richer and has a stronger flavor. It can be served with vegetables, fermented shrimp paste, a pinch of salt and belacan, and ulam which something similar to nasi kerabu. Laksam will be cooked differently in every state.
