Indian Rojak is a common food in Malaysia which consume by every race because it does not contain any pork ingredients and it is halal food.
Indian Rojak mainly combine of cucumber slice, egg, deep-fry potatoes, tofu and prawn fritters. Some of the people will add some noodles or squid to make it more tasty, it is depend on personal taste. Then, the recipe of the rojak source is sweet potato, shallots and tomato then mixed with some water, roasted peanuts, chili sauce, salt, palm sugar and korma powder.
Usually cendol will be served or order with rojak because it is like the combination of fast food with soft drinks. Cendol is an ice sweet taste desert which contains rice flour jelly, shaved ice, palm sugar syrup and coconut milk. It could be separate but this is how usually Malaysia will consume. It is a perfect match!
Normally Indian Rojak could be found at mamak stall or roadside stall.
