Apam Balik is kind of griddle pancake which common in Southeast Asia such as Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. This desert having various name such as apam balik, ban jian kuih, martabak manis, terang bulan and etc.

Apam Balik’s batter is made from baking soda, egg, mixture of flour, coconut milk, sugar and water. Traditionally, this pancake sprinkled filling by crushed peanut granules with sugar and sweetcorn kernels. Today, due to the preferences of consumer and modern innovation, chocolate, kaya, cheddar cheese and etc are available.

Apam Balik usually sold at specialist roadside store and pasar malam(night market).
